Kīpaepae Workshop Series, where participants of all ages can engage in the preparation and protocols of setting the stone work or paepae of a Lua hale, explore the terminology and techniques of various lashings used in the hale, and participate in hands-on activities to gain a clearer understanding of the connections between this practice and the practice of a koa.
You will have the opportunity to learn moʻolelo, history, and practices with this unique opportunity to connect with our rich heritage and engage in meaningful cultural practices. We look forward to seeing you and your ʻohana at the workshops!
