The natives reside in the Kiliua rain and In the running winds called Holoholopali.
Kanehoalani is a sheer cliff, as is Kupulupulu and his companion.
Mookapuohaloa dangles above Paliku, the sacred path of Hiiaka.
Look, Kioele, Ohulehule, the observers of the priests.
Nanahoa stands erect
His companion rests in the lineage of Molii.
Heaps of sand lay spread out at Apua.
The sea has absorbed the land.
The land indeed fragile.
Paliku is dimmed in the presence of the iwa
Mokolii dances in the sea of Koholalele
Hina is reclined in the octopus spearing waters of Kapapa
The rains appear at the shelter of Pohukaina, a downpour!
Kaahuula, is for the ancestors
Kauhuhu is in the firmanent at Konahuanui
Ahualaka has been consercrated in the time of Wakea
An altar of sand and coral
Koolau is stormy and in heavy rains
Koolaupoko and Koolauloa are partners
Koolau is a companion with Kane
Running is the Awa seaward
A fish on land with dangerous spines
There at the verdant cliffs appears the smoke
